Newbee is an all-in-one platform designed to help newcomers seamlessly integrate into their new country. Our mission is to empower expats, migrants, and international students by providing reliable information, community connections, and expert support—all in one place.

At Newbee, we believe that every newcomer deserves to feel at home. Whether you’re looking for local insights, essential services, or connections with people from your home country, Newbee ensures a safe, structured, and privacy-focused space for you to navigate life abroad with confidence.

Your privacy and trust are our top priorities. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information to enhance your experience while keeping your data secure.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Newbee app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). We may make changes to this Terms & Conditions from time to time, so please review it periodically. If we materially change this Terms & Conditions, we will take steps to notify you in advance of the change as required by applicable law, for example by emailing you or by posting a notice in your community feed. If you object to any changes, you may delete your account. You acknowledge that your continued use of our Services after we publish or notify you of changes to these Terms & Conditions constitutes your acceptance of those changes as of their effective date.

3. Account Registration

To use the Newbee app, you must create an account. To create an account, you will need to provide us with certain personal information, such as your name, email address, and home country. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are also responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4 Use of the Newbee App

You may use the Newbee app for the following purposes only:

To connect with other immigrants and expats in your new country.
To explore service providers in your preferred language.
To stay up-to-date on the latest news in your new country.
To explore both online and offline events organized by the Newbee team or community members, and to register for, share, or invite other users to these events.

You may not use the Newbee app for any other purpose, including:

To solicit or transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional materials.
To distribute or transmit any defamatory, obscene, threatening, or illegal material.
To hack, modify, or interfere with the Newbee app or any of its features.
To impersonate another person or entity.
To violate any applicable laws or regulations.
To violate safety of children in any way. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) is illegal, and using Newbee products and services to store or share it is strictly prohibited. CSAM includes any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct by minors, including but not limited to photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery is strictly forbidden and Newbee will take actions to address CSAM, content will be removed and issue will be escalated to legal authorities when detected.

5. Data Processing & Third-Party Services (Newbee)

To improve user experience, we use Google Gemini for language detection and content safety within the Newbee app. This enables us to provide services in multiple languages and ensure compliance with our community standards.

Content Safety: User-generated content is reviewed using Google Gemini to prevent the spread of harmful or inappropriate material.
Language Detection: Detects the language of content to provide tailored experiences and safety measures.

We ensure that any personal data processed by Google Gemini is protected under strict security protocols and in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

6. Limitation of Liability for In-Person Events

By attending or participating in any event organized, promoted, or facilitated through the Newbee platform or by Beeyondapps, you acknowledge and agree that you do so voluntarily and at your own risk. Newbee and BeeyondApps do not assume any responsibility or liability for any physical injury, health issue, loss, damage, dispute, or any other incident that may occur before, during, or after such events.

Newbee and Beeyondapps shall not be held liable for any behavior, actions, or omissions of other participants. We do not provide any warranties regarding the safety, suitability, or outcomes of the events and are not responsible for resolving any personal disputes or conflicts that may arise among attendees.

You are solely responsible for your own actions and safety. We recommend exercising personal discretion and taking appropriate precautions when joining any event organized through the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability for Expert Advice

By interacting with or receiving information from professionals, advisors, or experts through the Newbee platform, you acknowledge and agree that Newbee and BeeyondApps are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any advice or recommendations provided.

Newbee and BeeyondApps explicitly disclaim any liability for decisions made or actions taken based on content provided through the platform, including but not limited to legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. You remain solely responsible for evaluating the relevance and reliability of any content before acting upon it.

8. Limitation of Liability for User-Generated Content

Content, comments, or answers shared by users within the Newbee platform reflect the personal opinions and experiences of individual members. Newbee and BeeyondApps do not endorse, monitor, or verify the accuracy or reliability of any such user-generated content.

You acknowledge and agree that Newbee and BeeyondApps shall not be held liable for any loss, harm, or misunderstanding resulting from reliance on content shared by other users. You are solely responsible for your interactions and decisions within the platform and should exercise personal discretion and judgment when engaging with or acting on any shared information.

9. Limitation of Liability for User Generated Content

All intellectual property rights in the Newbee app, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, are owned by Beeyondapps Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Newbee app or any of its content without our prior written permission.

10. Privacy

We may collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Newbee app is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties or representations of any kind about the Newbee app, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We are not responsible for any damages that you may suffer as a result of using the Newbee app, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Termination

We may terminate your use of the Newbee app at any time for any reason.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany and Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

14.Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck from these Terms and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Governing Law & Entire Agreement

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany and Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Beeyondapps Ltd. regarding your use of the Newbee app and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
